SI Defense Compensators
Why use a compensator? Simple, to reduce felt recoil and muzzle jump. Unless you are going to be shooting a lot at night or on a special op, utilize an SI Defense compensator instead of a flash suppressor. Make your day shooting more comfortable and increase your accuracy by reducing recoil flinching.
The gas are directed out to both sides and ported at the top to relieve muzzle jump. There are no ports or holes on the bottom of the compensator to reduce "dusting" when shooting in the prone position.
We manufacture our DRK compensator that will fit any of your AR rifles. They are CNC machined from carbon or stainless steel in 1/2 x 28 for the .223/5.56 and 5/8 x 24 for the .308. The 5/8 x 24 compensator will handle a bullet diameter up to .338.
